One Peace Books attended the 2008 Frankfurt Book Fair last month. The fair, held in mid-october, is one of the largest in the world. It's an important event for international publishers to forge new relationships. These large fairs provide an opportunity for everyone in the industry to get together in one place. While it is definitely geared to buyers and sellers, I was surprised to see a lot of everyday readers there as well. I know we at One Peace Books had an interesting time for sure! The fair was huge, in terms of the number of companies and in terms of the size of the grounds. We met many European based distribution companies there and the results were really encouraging. It looks like One Peace Books will soon be available throughout Europe and Asia! Lookout world here we come!!
