Schoolgirl in the Classroom (that's appropriate!)

We received a very nice review for Schoolgirl from Kathryn Hemmann, a graduate student in East Asian Languages. She says she'll be assigning Schoolgirl in the classroom. Wonderful. We are so pleased. Thank you Kathryn!

“Despite its relative brevity, Schoolgirl is fascinating and can be approached from a variety of angles by a wide range of readers. I can't think of a single person to whom I wouldn't recommend this novella.”

Book Expo of America

The BEA was this week in New York. And OPB being in the city, decided to go as usual and poke around. We found that this year was not much different than the last. It is an event for managers, business people, and the general business that surrounds books. It was definitely not an event for the public. OPB being in the business, however, found out some interesting things about e-books as well as had the opportunity to meet with contacts and distributors. The event all in all is good for suits, but for average readers, I wouldn't recommend recommend it.
